El artista internacional Luis Fonsi fue el mayor ganador de la noche al recibir cuatro Latin GRAMMY durante la 18a Entrega Anual de los premios por su éxito global "Despacito" en las categorías: "Grabación del año," "Canción del año," "Mejor Fusión/Interpretación Urbana" y "Mejor Video Musical Versión Corta."

Además de ser reconocido, Fonsi causó furor ofreciendo una de las presentaciones más ovacionadas de la noche cuando interpretó "Despacito" en una versión única para los premios que recorrió cuatro estilos musicales diferentes que influenciaron la composición de la canción, incluyendo acústico con sabor puertorriqueño junto a Cristian Nieves (cuatrista quién grabó la versión original de "Despacito"), cumbia con el grupo colombiano Bomba Estéreo, salsa a dúo con el artista puertorriqueño Victor Manuelle y finalmente dance remix con el popular DJ Diplo.

Luego de un año lleno de logros históricos y dominar las listas de popularidad a nivel mundial durante 11 meses consecutivos y hacer historia al romper todos los records de venta, streaming y visitas en YouTube, Fonsi está listo para iniciar una nueva etapa hoy con el anticipado lanzamiento mundial de su nuevo sencillo y video titulado "Échame La Culpa" con la participación de la nominada al GRAMMY y superestrella global Demi Lovato, ya disponibles en todas las plataformas digitales. El sencillo fue compuesto por Luis Fonsi, Andres Torres, Mauricio Rengifo y Alejandro Rengifo (Cali y El Dandee), bajo la producción a cargo de Andrés Torres y Mauricio Rengifo.

Fonsi quien tuvo la oportunidad de compartir y grabar el tema con Demi Lovato en un estudio de Nueva York expresó: "Grabar con Demi fue una experiencia muy bonita y lo que más me emocionó fue sus ganas de cantar en español y lo perfeccionista que fue a la hora de la pronunciación de la letra de la canción. Musicalmente es perfecta, lo que hizo que fuese la producción vocal más fácil que he hecho en mi carrera."  

Por su parte, Lovato dijo: "Mi primera impresión de Fonsi no fue solo que el es extremadamente carismático, agradecido, dulce y estrovertido, sino que también es paciente, que fue muy gratificante porque estaba preocupada de que mi español no fuera a ser tan bueno. Al final todo resultó bien y yo estaba muy agradecida de que él pudiera estar ahí y que me apoyara tanto. Por supuesto el es muy talentoso y estoy agradecida de haber tenido la oportunidad de cantar con el."  

El estreno de "Échame La Culpa" viene acompañado de un vibrante y sensual video dirigido por Carlos Perez, director creativo de Elastic People, grabado el pasado mes de octubre con Fonsi y Demi Lovato en un almacén ubicado en la ciudad de Brooklyn, NY, acompañados de un espectacular y colorido grupo de bailarines.??? Para verlo  HERE

Las Vegas, NV (November 16, 2017). - International artist Luis Fonsi became the biggest winner of the night when awarded four Latin GRAMMY for his history-making single "Despacito" at the 18th Annual edition celebrated last night in Las Vegas, in the categories: "Record of the Year," "Song of the year," "Best Urban Fusion / Performance" and "Best Music Video Short Version."

In addition to being recognized, Fonsi closed the award ceremony with one of the most celebrated and spectacular performances of the night, singing a one of a kind version of "Despacito" that traveled through four different musical styles, same that influenced the making of the song.  Fonsi performed an acoustic section with Puerto Rican sounds with Cristian Nieves (the Cuatro player who recorded the original version of "Despacito"), a Cumbia set with Colombian group Bomba Estereo, a salsa duo with Puerto Rican artist Victor Manuelle and a dance remix with DJ Diplo.

After a year full of historic accomplishments, dominating the world's top charts for 11 consecutive months and breaking records in sales, streaming, and views on YouTube, Fonsi is ready to start a new cycle. Today marks the highly anticipated worldwide release of his brand new single and video titled "Échame La Culpa" (Blame Me) featuring GRAMMY nominated & multi-platinum global superstar Demi Lovato.

Fonsi who had the opportunity to share and record the song with Lovato in New York said: "Recording with Demi was a wonderful experience and what thrilled me the most was her desire to sing in Spanish and how perfectionist she was with the pronunciation of the lyrics." "Musically speaking she is perfect, which made it the easiest vocal production I've ever done in my career."

"My first impression of Fonsi was that he was not only extremely grateful, sweet, outgoing but that he is also patient with my Spanish, which is really refreshing because I was worried that it was not going to be good, said Lovato. "But it turned out OK and I was really grateful for him that he was able to be there and he was very supportive. Of course, he is extremely talented and I love the fact that I got to work with him."
